About
Wildly Kind

Where It All Began

Wildly Kind began as one person’s decision to give up alcohol and a belief that small acts of kindness can change lives. Over the past four years, our organization has grown into a global movement, inspiring people around the world to lead with compassion and connection and to choose to be wildly kind in their everyday lives.

Today, our organization is powered by a community of more than 150 ambassadors and has been featured by major news outlets such as Good Morning America and ABC World News.

What started as a way to change one life became a movement

In 2020, our founder began using random acts of kindness as a tool in her own sobriety journey.

The idea was simple: get outside of yourself. Notice someone else. Do something good without expecting anything in return.

And somewhere along the way, something changed.

Helping other people helped her heal, too.

Those small moments eventually became Wildly Kind, and what began with one person choosing kindness has grown into a community of people around the world choosing to do the same.

Today, Wildly Kind exists to create more of those moments.
Moments that interrupt loneliness.
Moments that bring people back to each other.
Moments that remind someone:

People still care.

Powered by people

Wildly Kind is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, but at its heart, this movement isn't about an organization.

It's about people.

People choosing kindness. People choosing connection. People choosing to remind someone else that they matter.

Wildly Kind Meets Portland Night Market

What happens when kindness shows up in unexpected places?

At the Portland Night Market, we brought Wildly Kind into the heart of the community—creating an opportunity for strangers to pause, connect, and leave a little kindness behind.

Because sometimes, a reminder that people care can find you in the most unexpected places.

Watch the story unfold.

Be someone's reminder.

You never know what a small moment of kindness might mean to someone.
